The Annual Golf Tournament reaches out to business people that love a wonderful experience on the golf course. It may include one or two scratch players, but the majority are guys and gals who enjoy the game and the camaraderie on the course. Opportunities for fabulous prizes are available for all.

The first Cancer Crusaders Golf Tournament was held in 2007. It was organized by Mark Mitchell, who at the time had to travel to other cities to receive his cancer treatment. He wanted to support a means to have treatments available in the New Orleans area. The golf tournament was a means to this end.

The tournament has grown immensely with male and female teams. Golfers are treated to food and drink on nearly every hole. We also provide lunch before the noon scramble and an awards dinner after play. There are many prize opportunities. We have several Hole-in One contests and a closest to the pin contest which is a guaranteed prize to take home. It’s a great, fun filled day and the players love taking home some parade of prizes.
